B&B and Le Bambole x Stella McCartney. The Stella McCartney x B&B Italia capsule collection represents the famous designer's first foray into the world of furniture. The collection includes an armchair, a two-seater sofa and a three-seater sofa, featuring the exclusive "Fungi Forest" upholstery hand-designed from Stella McCartney's Summer 2022 collection. This fabric, produced responsibly to reflect sustainability values, was successfully presented during Milan Design Week in June 2022, together with an installation dedicated to innovative materials called 'Future of Fashion'. The collaboration celebrates the 50th anniversary of Le Bambole and is inspired by the works of Bellini. The new Le Bambole is designed for circularity, with the possibility of complete disassembly to facilitate repairs and promote a more responsible use of materials at the end of life. A distinctive sustainable innovation is the biodegradable and toxin-free 100% upholstery, exclusively developed by B&B Italia's research and development team. This fabric does not release harmful microplastics into the environment, offering an ecological approach to high-quality furniture.
