Flos in Lugano, Como and Milan. The Parentesi by Flos is a lamp with a minimalist and innovative design, characterised by the possibility of adjusting the height of the luminaire body by sliding it on a shaped steel tube. The luminaire head is made of black injection-moulded elastomer, inside of which is housed the luminaire switch, while the electrical cable has a useful length of 4000 mm. The product in the configuration visible in the picture on the left (cm 11.5 x h. 400 max) has been selected by the Peverelli team for digital sale.

Parentesi by Flos, the elegant lamp with an innovative design
An accurate description of the design lamp with direct light
The Parentesi by Flos is a floor lamp with direct light, with a minimalist and innovative design. The vertical movement of the luminaire body is achieved by sliding a shaped, liquid-painted or nickel-plated steel tube over a steel cable stretched between the ceiling and the floor, with a useful length of 4000 mm. The luminaire head is made of black injection-moulded elastomer, inside which the luminaire switch is housed. The electrical cable has a useful length of 4000 mm, starting from the lamp holder. The net weight is 3.6 kg.

How can I adjust the height of the Flos Parenthesis?
Our guide on using the Flos Parenthesis
To adjust the height of Flos' Parentesi, simply slide the luminaire body along the shaped steel tubing, which slides on a steel cable stretched between the ceiling and the floor, without the need for wall fixings. The vertical movement of the lamp can be locked in any desired position, thanks to an internal locking system. Flos' Parentesi is equipped with a switch inside the luminaire head, which allows the light to be easily switched on and off. The length of the electrical cable, which starts from the lamp holder, is 4000 mm, ensuring great freedom of positioning.
