B&B and The Chess . The Gli Scacchi series is an ensemble of three elements with a playful character inspired by the game of chess, representing the Queen, the Knight and the Rook. Lightweight and easily moved like pawns on a chessboard, these elements reflect the idea of living freely without constraints. The parallelepiped shape is developed and elaborated in soft polyurethane, perfectly synchronised with the Camaleonda seating collection. Originally from 1971, this series was a technical innovation by introducing self-skinning polyurethane upholstery. In the 2020 re-edition, the upholstery is made of leather or Kanu leather with visible stitching, while the metal profile at the base emphasises the geometric shapes in contrast to the overall softness of the object. A marriage of design and elegance that combines history and modernity.
