The Tulip chair is made with a cast aluminium shell with a very high quality finish, available in white and black variants with Rilsan upholstery. The platinum base, on the other hand, is upholstered in transparent polyurethane, guaranteeing a unique elegance to the product. The collection includes both an armchair and an armless chair, available with a swivel or fixed base and with different upholstery options. There is a choice of an upholstered cushion or a fully upholstered shell, both available in different fabrics and leathers. The collection is completed by a swivel stool, also with a comfortable upholstered cushion. Eero Saarinen

Eero Saarinen, a design visionary

Eero Saarinen was born in 1910 in Finland into a family of great artists and architects. From an early age, he showed exceptional talent for sculpture and creativity, studying at the Academy of the Grande Chaumière in Paris and later at Yale University. With a scholarship from Yale, he had the opportunity to travel to Europe and broaden his horizons. In 1936, Eero returned to the United States and began a brilliant career that led him to collaborate with his father and teach at Cranbrook Academy, where he met Charles Eames. Together, the two explored new forms for furniture, creating pieces that are still considered masterpieces of design today. Eero Saarinen was a design visionary, a man who turned his creativity into works that have been appreciated worldwide. His legacy will live on forever through his creations, inspiring generations of designers and design lovers to innovate and create equally extraordinary works.
