The 'Asterias Table' is a creation by Patricia Urquiola, inspired by the Mexican cactus called Asterias. This round table has a distinctive central base composed of six wedge-shaped panels of curved wood, made using a 3D moulding technique. The top, available in diameters of 160 or 180 cm, has a rounded edge and, in the wood version, is divided into four segments that create a fascinating geometric pattern. As a finishing touch, the table has a central turntable, known as the 'Lazy Susan', which is particularly popular in Asian countries.
