The Eames Elephant: a work of art for children's furniture
The famous designer couple strongly believed that games and toys could nurture children's creativity, providing them with the keys to 'dream and create'. Inspired by Africa's fascinating symbol, the elephant, they created a true 'work of art' of children's furniture, made of gentle, curved lines. Thanks to their skill and great experience in contemporary design, they have created an object that children immediately recognise and can immediately become attached to. The Eames Elephant was made with care, starting with handcrafted wood and then evolving towards the use of polypropylene.
